CEA unites manufacturers, distributors, retailers and installers to develop the overall consumer technology landscape and assist each player in achieving their strategic growth.

CEA includes standards related to product safety and compliance; audio systems; video systems; antennas; mobile electronics; home networks; cable compatibility and automatic data capture.

CEA standards are used by companies in the development, manufacturing and distribution of audio, video, mobile electronics, communications, information technology, multimedia and accessory products, as well as related services that are sold through consumer channels. These companies range from multi-national corporations to specialty niche companies.

CEA Collections:

Online Access - Subscribers get secure online access to search, view, bookmark, track, and print documents according to the license agreement. Online documents are updated daily. Multiple users can share a single license. You also get access to IHS Standards bibliographic data – more than 1 Million documents.

Individual Documents - IHS sell individual documents through the IHS Store in electronic or hard copy formats. Statistics show that 1 out of every 5 people who purchase individual documents would benefit from an online subscription.  You should consider a collection over individual document purchases if your company buys more than $3,000 in standards per year.
