Scope:
General
This Standard specifies the minimum requirements for inspection,
testing, and maintenance of overhead cranes, monorails, hoists,
trolleys, jib cranes, gantry and wall cranes, and other equipment
having the same fundamental characteristics.
Log Book
Equipment covered by this Standard shall have a register in the
form of a log book, for recording all findings as a result of
inspections, maintenance, repairs, and modifications. The log book
shall be available for review during the entire life of the
equipment.
